Responsibilities:
Prepare the Company's quarterly and annual tax provisions and related tax footnote disclosures
Assist with the preparation of federal, state and local tax returns
Prepare and update effective tax rate calculation
Assist with FIN 48 documentation.
Assist with income tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
Assist with SOX compliance for Tax Department
Assist with special projects
Research income tax issues and monitor current developments
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred
Minimum of 6 years of experience in a public accounting firm and/or large corporate tax department
Federal tax background
In depth knowledge of ASC 740
Excellent writing and verbal skills required
Strong management, analytical, organizational skills required
Self-starter with strong work ethic.
Ability to perform under pressure and to handle multiple projects
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
