The Sr. SAP Systems Analyst will be responsible for primarily supporting the SAP CRM-IPM (Intellectual Property Management) system for Sales and Contract functionality including, but not limited to, Master Data, Avails, License Sales Contracts, Middleware and Reporting. Additionally, this person will be responsible for supporting these business processes on other legacy and 3 rd party systems.
He/she will be able to communicate effectively with IT colleagues, business users and external partners to determine business requirements and translate those requirements into viable technical solutions in both, support and project delivery roles. This person will need to possess technical and functional skills, and must be aware of business processes in the Media & Entertainment (M&E) industry.
He/she will excel in a team environment, and will be dedicated to expanding his/her knowledge base as well as to sharing that knowledge with others. The ability to independently manage multiple work efforts in a dynamic environment is imperative, as is the ability to lead and motivate others toward achieving departmental and company goals.
Responsibilities:
· Design, configure, implement, test, document and maintain solutions in the Master data, Avails and Contracts modules of SAP CRM-IPM.
· Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between SAP CRM-IPM, ECC, Data Warehouse and other systems.
· Work with the MGM user community to define business requirements and map them into system requirements and resolve issues as needed.
· Provide appropriate SAP configuration and development support.
· Participate in and contribute towards determining new solutions/technologies. Recommend additional system uses to resolve operational problems and identify areas for improvement.
· Contribute towards initiatives such as project planning, authoring RFPs, vendor selection, etc.
· Participate in support-related activities such system monitoring, maintenance, disaster recovery, etc.
Requirements:
· 7 years implementing SAP solutions.
· 5 years of Technical and Functional experience in SAP CRM and IPM.
· Knowledge of SAP ECC-FI.
· M&E industry experience highly desirable, specifically with TV Distribution.
· Technical skills such as ABAP, CRM WebUI, SQL, etc. highly desirable.
· Experience working on RICEFW objects.
· SAP trained and/or certified (preferably in CRM).
· Involved in multiple full lifecycle (FLC) implementations, support projects and upgrade projects.
· Proficiency in various system development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies showcasing efforts such as planning, systems analysis, design, development, testing, training and documentation.
· Bachelor's degree from accredited institution in fields such as M.I.S., Computer Science or Engineering. Master's degree a plus.
· Leadership and management experience a plus, but not mandatory.
· Experience working with teams of various sizes on projects with varying scopes, preferably in both consulting and end-client capacities.
