The SAP Business Analyst will be responsible for primarily supporting the SAP CRM-IPM (Intellectual Property Management) system for Sales and Contract functionality, including, but not limited to, Master Data, License Sales Contracts, Usage, Billing and Reporting. Additionally, this person will be responsible for supporting these business processes on other legacy and 3rd party systems.
He/she will be able to communicate effectively with IT colleagues, business users and external partners to determine business requirements and translate those requirements into viable technical solutions in both, support and project delivery roles. This person needs to possess functional skills working with ERP products (preferably SAP), and must be aware of business processes in the Media & Entertainment industry.
He/she will excel in a team environment, and will be dedicated to expanding his/her knowledge base as well as to sharing that knowledge with others. The ability to independently manage multiple work efforts in a dynamic environment is imperative, as is the ability to lead and motivate others toward achieving departmental and company goals.
Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, test and support the SAP IPM solution, specifically modules such as Master data, Contracts, Usage and Billing.
· Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between SAP CRM-IPM, ECC, Data Warehouse and other systems.
· Work with the MGM user community to define business requirements and map them into system requirements and resolve issues as needed.
· Manage systems development or process improvement projects by applying basic project management methodology.
· Document design specifications, test plans & scripts, training manuals, etc.
· Work closely with the development team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution according to specifications throughout the lifecycle of a fix/project.
· Participate in and contribute towards determining new solutions/technologies. Recommend additional system uses to resolve operational problems and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
· 5 years of Business Analysis experience, of which, 3 in the M&E industry (preferably TV Distribution).
· 3 years of experience working with SAP CRM, preferably the IPM module. Experience can be as an analyst and/or functional consultant role.
· Involved in multiple full lifecycle (FLC) implementations and support projects.
· Proficiency in various system development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies showcasing efforts such as planning, systems analysis, design, development, testing, training and documentation.
· Bachelor's degree from accredited institution in fields such as M.I.S., Computer Science or Engineering. Master's degree a plus.
· Experience working on SAP RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow) objects.
· Experience working with teams of various sizes on projects with varying scopes, preferably in both consulting and end-client capacities.
· SAP trained and/or certified is a plus.
