Responsibilities :
· Maintain and administer Microsoft Windows Exchange environment.
· Serve as level 2/Level3 escalation for Help Desk to resolve internal E-mail technical support issues.
· Schedule software (patches, drivers, service packs, etc.) installations and upgrades.
· Maintain and troubleshoot Windows servers including Active Directory.
· Evaluate new products and provide purchase recommendations to management.
· Participate in installations, system planning, upgrades, testing, and servicing.
· Maintain and administer Microsoft Lync 2010 / 2013
· Perform network user and resource (e.g. printers) administration tasks.
· Perform hardware and software upgrades as needed including testing, package builds, and implementations.
· Coordinate and perform disaster recovery rehearsals.
· Recommend, implement and manage infrastructure applications.
Requirements :
· Bachelors of Science in a computer related field or minimum 7 years work experience directly related to email and network support.
· 7 years of E-mail and Network related experience.
· 7 years of hands on experience troubleshooting and configuring Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2012 and Exchange server(s).
· 5 years working with Active Directory and Windows 2003/2008/2012 servers.
· 3 years of hands on experience supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft ISA / TMG.
· Performed backup and restore of entire Microsoft Exchange server, individual storage groups and mailboxes.
· Experience with setup, configuration, and implementation of BES server.
· 2 years experience with Microsoft Lync 2010/2013.
· Extensive experience troubleshooting ActiveSync issues.
· Postini, Forefront, or Office 365 experience a plus
· Certification in networking concepts, hardware, operating systems, routing, switching, and common network protocols is a plus.
