Responsibilities:
Prepare, Review and Redline documents; Draft and type correspondence; Word process, fax, reproduce, and distribute documents
Organize and maintain heavy filing system, databases and reports using Word and Excel
Heavy phones and scheduling - facilitate appointments, maintain calendars and contacts; Make travel arrangements; Perform expense reimbursement; Handle incoming/outgoing mail; Process invoices; Order supplies
Request, track, and create payments for distribution – maintain and monitor payment system
Interface with talent representatives, outside counsel, and various internal departments
Requirements:
BA/BS degree required / Paralegal Certification preferred
Proficiency in MS Office Suite – must be extremely knowledgeable with Outlook email/calendar/contacts in addition to Word and Excel
Minimum 2 years experience supporting Business/Legal Affairs attorneys in a studio, network or entertainment law firm environment, or comparable experience
Ability to understand and abstract various agreements and disseminate information accordingly
Excellent communication and organizational skills; heavy organizational skills are a necessity
Ability to take initiative and be proactive in all matters is paramount
Additional duties, including legal research and administrative projects, as assigned
