Senior Security Analyst
The Senior Security Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's information security program. This program includes assessing information risk, implementing security measures to prevent data loss and service interruptions from breaches, viruses, spyware and/or hackers, and facilitating remediation of identified vulnerabilities across all MGM offices worldwide. .
Responsibilities:
Management of IT security and IT risk (e.g., data systems, network and/or web) across the enterprise
Assess security position of SAAS and third party vendors.
Address questions from internal and external audits and examinations.
Develop policies, procedures and standards that meet existing and newly developed policy and regulatory requirements including SOX.
Develop and facilitate IT security/risk training curriculum.
Serve as project manager/lead for IT security projects.
Work with IT management on training staff on network and information security procedures
Evaluate, deploy and manage information security system solutions such as strong authentication, key management, IPS, SIEM, antimalware, vulnerability scanners, MDM and others.
Develop and maintain IT security baseline and procedures.
Perform continuous risk assessments and testing of data processing systems
Participate in 24x7 Information Security Incident Response team.
Assist IT with creating and testing disaster recovery procedures to keep IT systems running in the event of a security breach
Regularly assess, track and manage necessary actions required to address security related issues based on system logs, alerts and reports.
Provide weekly status reports, including outstanding issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security or related field required.
7-10 years IT security or information security experience with a proven ability to engage with Senior Management and regulators.
4 years' experience conducting IT compliance assessments (SOX)
4 years' experience in administering IT security controls in an organization.
2 years' experience in network/server administration.
Knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, databases and systems in relation to IT Security and IT Risk.
Prior experience managing security reviews and risk assessments.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to ''think-out-of-the-box.''
Experience with FW/IPS/IDS and SIEM technologies.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or related certification.
Extensive knowledge on various scripting language such as java, JavaScript, PHP and Perl preferred.
Prior experience working in media and/or entertainment organizations is preferred.
Project management skills preferred.
Linux, MAC OS, Windows workstation and server administration experience preferred.
