Responsibilities :
Coordinate with supervisor on updating and maintaining financial models for all feature films
Assist in preparation of financial support during the film greenlighting processes
Ensure film forecasts are properly reflected during the annual Business Plan and quarterly reforecasts
Work in conjunction with the Corporate Accounting department during quarterly and year-end closes in updating film ultimates
Support department in updating data from business units and refreshing internal reports used during the annual Business Plan and quarterly forecasts
Liaise with business units to ensure information is conveyed accurately and within the designated timelines
Reconcile financial results, provide variance analyses and identify key drivers of performance or timing change
Coordinate with the TV Finance team on all New Television Program modelling and forecasting
Assist in ad hoc corporate development and corporate finance projects including deal analysis, valuations, M&A and other transactions
Support tax planning group in financial analysis
Prepare Excel reports and PowerPoint presentations for Senior Management and Board of Directors
Assist in maintenance of the departmental database (Essbase)
Update generic film model periodically as needed
Various ad hoc analyses and special projects support as required
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business/Econ or a related field.
3 years financial planning/accounting experience in the entertainment industry.
Previous financial planning/reporting experience in a public company.
Prior experience in film modeling.
Aptitude for being precise and detail-oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of company personnel.
Desire and proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work well as a team member, with the willingness to do what it takes to deliver accurate information in a timely manner.
Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Essbase, SAP, Word, PPT.
