Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (''MGM'') is seeking a Manager in its Contract Services department. The Manager of Contract Services is responsible for the day-to-day activities relating to sales administration and contract related functions. The successful candidate specializes in territories or media as assigned by management.
The responsibilities of the Manager include managing product availability window flow, generating sales and availability reports, processing deal memos and change orders, contract administration, sales planning and other functions. The successful candidate will be the point person for managing high profile output deals in selected territories.
Responsibilities
Include:
• Work with Sales to provide sales and availability reports based on specific territory/client requirement
• Window management for all products, including current features and TV series. Responsible for territory and window management which includes monitoring of product availability release dates. Properly manages product license windows and holdbacks that flow through the sequence of media in their territories
• Manage deals in association with Sales on new title selections for existing output deals, title substitutions, re-clearance or withdrawing of titles due to rights updates, including direct communication with clients on notification of dates and other contractually required terms
• Liaison between servicing and financial groups to ensure all contractual obligations have been fulfilled as well as assist in review of the viability of new clients
• Input data into the IPM database management system (i.e. contract entry/administration, event processing, and client maintenance)
• Point person for high-level projects
• Mentor/oversee department coordinators
Requirements:
Previous experience and proven expertise at a Manager level in addition to the following requirements:
• BA/BS degree required
• 4 years Industry experience in sales/contract administration or related field
• Strong organization, written and communication skills
• Understands and applies the concepts of window management, contract administration, sales planning, etc.
• Demonstrates self-initiative, assumes responsibility for managing territories/media, including building relationships with internal and external customers
• Actively seeks to gain additional expertise in WWDS applications, industry, MGM policy, systems, etc.
• Proactively contributes to team success, interaction and motivation in addition to volunteering for team, cross team and departmental projects
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to maintain high-level of customer service and positive attitude with changing environments, resources, etc.
