Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (''MGM'') is seeking a Finance Coordinator. The Finance Coordinator will assist in the management of daily operations of the Chief Accounting Officer and the Financial Planning Department.
Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:
Organizing and preparing PowerPoint presentations and financial reports
Creating Excel spreadsheets and other financial analyses
Preparing bank account reconciliations
Preparing journal entries
Preparing support for quarterly review and year-end audit schedules
Compiling and preparing materials for senior management and other meetings
Word processing correspondence, reports, and documents
Coordinating executives' conference calls, meetings, and calendar
Managing Finance department administrative duties
Ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
Excellent computer skills - proficiency in MS Office including strong Excel and PowerPoint
Internet Savvy - able to do research and present findings clearly and concisely, either orally or in writing
Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Able to work effectively with all levels of management
Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete manner
Attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills are of the highest importance
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
