Administrative Assistant
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (''MGM'') seeks an experienced, skilled Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative support to the company's Executive Vice President, Financial Affairs.
Responsibilities
Include:
• Handle daily administrative tasks as more fully detailed below
• Assist in maintaining various company filing systems, databases, and reports using Word, Excel, and/or custom programs requiring a high attention to detail
• Create and manage correspondence and written communication
• Moderate phones and scheduling – facilitate appointments, maintain calendars, and contacts
• Draft and type correspondence
• Word process, fax, copy, scan, file and distribute documents while maintaining strict confidentiality
• Monitor and log calls to central participant voicemail box and route as appropriate
• Process expense reimbursements
• Handle incoming / outgoing mail
• Order supplies and process invoices
• Interface with various internal departments
• Additional ad hoc duties, including research and administrative projects, as assigned
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree required
• High level of proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Minimum of two years prior experience as an administrative assistant in an entertainment company or law firm a plus
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
• Ability to take initiative and be proactive in all matters
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through skills are of the highest importance
• Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and expertly problem solve
• Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete manner
• Self-starter with a driven, motivated work ethic
• Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented
• A self-starter able to take initiative, think creatively, and work independently
