Methodic Doubt Music is on the hunt for a licensing coordinator with a strong background in financial/administrative management.
Responsibilities Include:
- ?• Maintain files for all current and past licensing deals; business affairs documents; and licensing agreements
- • Prepare, review and update licensing logs, composer advance & placement documents, and process all accounts payable/receivables
• Process all quote requests, confirmations, invoices and serve as daily frontline communicator with clients
- • Track and record all incoming royalties, sub pub, admin-rep, digital sales and corresponding payouts to composers
• Work directly with management/bookkeeper and serve as the day-to-day lead on all things financial/licensing/business-related.
- • Review and distribute mail, incoming checks, bills, tax payments.?
• Prepare and submit reports for licensing deals, confirmations and accounting to composers?
• Other duties as required
- ?Qualifications:
- • Minimum 2 years licensing and financial/administrative experience
- • Superior organizational, time management, prioritization & communications skills
- • Proficient in Quickbooks, Excel/Numbers, databasing & tracking
• Familiar with state/fed taxes, basic accounting practices & human resources
- • Adaptable and able to work well in a fast pace environment
• Provide critical thinking on business systems to capture, process, track and summarize financial information required to both run the company and provide timely reporting to our clients & composers
