Full Time Job
Studio Operations Coordinator reports to the Studio Operations Manager and coordinates various operations to ensure the daily running of the Visual FX studio.
Operations
• Coordinate and oversee production related moves within the facility. This includes coordinating the movement of desks, chairs and Visual FX computer equipment throughout the facility. Involves liaising between I.T, Facilities and Production.
• Coordinate the inventory and ordering of operational equipment/supplies and (when required) assistance in ordering computer equipment for the studio.
• Coordinate movement of staff throughout facility during studio renovations. Involves liaising with I.T and Facilities.
• Representative of Health and Safety Committee.
• Assist with security during company security audits.
Public Relations & Programs
• Plan, coordinate and executive company programs and events within guidelines of budget, as overseen by Studio Operations Manager.
• Fostering relationships with local hotels, event spaces and businesses in order to further develop business relationships for Method Studios and Encore. Involves Public Relations for the company.
• Liaise with Human Resources and Recruitment on creating and supplying ''Welcome to Vancouver'' package for new hires coming to Vancouver.
• Responsible for creating and circulating internal company newsletter.
• Provides social networking/marketing assistance for Method Studios.
• Maintain company events calendar on Confluence (International studio database)
• Create internal company event flyers/banners
Payroll
• Conduct weekly payroll approval procedure for Method employees. Includes approving/correcting, and offering ongoing payroll support for upwards of 300 employees. Involves liaising between Finance, Production and Human Resources.
Travel
• Coordinate and oversee production and company related travel arrangements for executives and artists. Including arranging flights, short-term and long-term accommodation. Involves liaising with Human Resources, Finance and Production.
• Administering corporate Travel Requests with the Head of Studio to seek approval for all necessary travel.
Finance
• Administering the use of Head of Studio and Crew Production Manager's credit cards. Involves signing off on all purchases, coding and supplying evidence for each purchase, as well as supplying general ongoing support. Involves liaising with Finance and Production
• Manage company travel budget as overseen by Head of Studio.
• Oversee budgets for studio events
General
• Assists Head of Studio and Head of Production as required
• Attends to all other duties as requested by the Studio Operations Manager and Head of Production.
