Method Studios is an award winning international visual effects group with facilities in LA, Vancouver, NY, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Sydney and Melbourne. As an artist-driven company known for its creativity, we service high-end feature film commercial, television, games and motion graphics.
Our Vancouver feature film studio is looking for an organized, diligent and enthusiastic administrative coordinator to join the artist management team, reporting to the Head of Production.
Duties:
• Work closely with Artist Managers to identify current & projected project needs
• Update Resource database to ensure ease of local and global visibility
• Approve employee vacation requests through proper channels
• Assist management of Artist Manager's calendars
• Liaise between Artist Management and Recruitment teams
• Support the onboard process of all new recruits
• Work with HR to notify Managers of upcoming contract end dates
• Work with Artist Managers to help in the day to day administration
• Liaise with individual Artist Managers to schedule artist reviews
• Requesting and collecting feedback from Leads/Supervisors for review purposes
• Attend department meetings and take notes
• Provide regular updates and reminders to Artist Managers about any issues that arise
• Schedule crew meetings regularly
• Ad hoc administration
• Maintain a complete record for recruitment of interviews and new hires
• Resourcing and tracking of talent for recruitment
• Ensuring all internal recruitment systems are up to date
• Arranging and setting up Interview as needed
• Recruitment system and process development and implementation with the guidance of the Recruitment Manager
Qualifications:
• Excellent organizational, communication and project management skills
• VFX knowledge (preferred)
• Proactive, confident and the ability to perform under pressure
• Strong administrative skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
• Proven ability to be flexible and self-motivated
• Strong Microsoft office skills including Excel
