Full Time Job
Assist the business affairs/customer service department with key client customer service and music publishing related issues. Assist the distribution department with bi-monthly updates including digital and hard drive distribution on a variety of platforms. Assist in other areas involving customer service and music publishing as requested.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Servicing key clients by ensuring their receipt of bi-monthly music releases along with providing assistance to the general bi-monthly update process
• Take phone calls and solve complex customer service queries regarding use of website and hard drives
• Working with Music Reports/Harry Fox for streaming/download compulsory mechanical license royalty reports
• Completion of song title registration process, ISRC code creation, ISWC and performing rights organization title code ingestion
• Scanning and filing composer and musician agreements, copyright forms and other publishing documentation
• Interpret and Develop SalesForce reporting for additional analysis
• Assisting other areas of the organization as requested to ensure excellent customer service.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Excel skills a must including pivot tables, V-lookups, and conditional statements
• Understanding of digital streaming rights and compulsory mechanical rights
• ASCAP/BMI/SESAC title registration processes
• Strong commitment to communicating with and servicing clients
• Strong organizational and follow up skills
• Strong creative problem solving skills
• Strong aptitude for technology and computers
• Previous experience in a music business environment
