Very fast paced Entertainment Payroll Company seeks candidates for a full-time Benefits Administrator position in our Los Angeles office. Candidates must possess strong benefits and payroll experience and PPACA knowledge, as well as excellent attention to detail and willingness to work as part of a team.
Position Summary: The Benefits Administrator is responsible for processing and administrating the day-to-day operations of employee benefit programs which include, but are not limited to group health, dental and vision benefits, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, 401k plan and retirement, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Disease (AD&D).
Essential Job Functions:
1. Reviews and audits enrollment forms, claims resolution, change reporting, and invoices to ensure accuracy and timely processing of payment, open enrollment period, and benefits administration.
2. Provides benefits administration and invoicing for client employees.
3. Maintains HRIS records and compiles reports from database.
4. Processes new hire, leave, and separation information in a timely and accurate manner.
5. Assists with benefits administration of client employees in compliance with the ACA.
6. Performs administrative assistance and filing in support of the Human Resources / Benefit department.
Essential Experience and Skills:
1. Proficiency in a variety of computer software, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word.
2. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
3. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
4. Excellent client service skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task.
6. Ability to interact positively with co-workers and external departments.
