Successful film & television producer looking for a permanent assistant with strong knowledge of the entertainment industry and who is highly motivated and able to work in many capacities. Position starts out with no pay (working as an intern) *** Read further as their is a Huge Upside
Producer has produced a Golden Globe nominated film and currently has a television series on the air. He has numerous projects in active development with studios and networks. Producer also has a deal at Fox for a one hour drama in active development and three additional non-scripted shows (reality tv) in development. If after a certain amount of time, Intern proves themselves to be highly capable, then a paying position will be made. Up until then, if assistant/intern finds projects to bring into company in which Producer approves, assistant/intern will be attached to project in a producer capacity -- credits and fees to be determined on a case by case basis. In addition, on projects that Producer develops -- if assistant/intern contributes substantially to the development & creative ideas to specific projects -- there may also be an opportunity for assistant/intern to be involved in a producer capacity.
Looking for someone extremely creative and resourceful. Someone that is extremely pro-active in finding new material to produce, that has huge international appeal. Looking for someone that wants to be a producer.
Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of the entertainment / TV industry
**Script coverage experience is a huge plus
Super creative to help create new ideas for shows
Resourceful in tracking down and finding source material such as books, etc, that might make good entertainment for the masses
The ability to work with a positive attitude
Great phone skills
Proficient on a MAC computer (Word, Excel, PP)
Knowledge of Photo Shop and ability to learn new programs if necessary
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours on occasion
Highly motivated and resourceful, bringing a sense of creativity and adaptability
An understanding of current television shows as well as pop culture
Internet savvy / Internet Research
Self motivated / able to motivate others
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in high stress, fast paced environment
Prior experience as an Assistant essential.
Should want to be in Television & Film
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to set and meet goals and deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Should be highly energetic, and have strong work ethic |
