What we are looking for:
Looking to gain high level experience in a fast paced post-production environment? Are you one who lights up at the thought of tidy folder structures and clean, organized Adobe Premiere projects?! Do you frequent tech and video production blogs to hear of the latest and greatest workflow or gizmo? Yeah!? Great!
MasterClass is looking for a creative, organized and motivated Post Production Coordinator to help our content team make great classes. This is a role that dabbles in the typical Assistant Editor duties as well, You are excited about creating an online education experience that transcends the passive e-learning models popular today.
Responsibilities of the role:
-Facilitate and execute all things from ingest to delivery - quality control to archiving.
-Ingest operations: Ingesting media and organizing Adobe Premiere projects for editors.
-Delivery and quality control: upload review edits online, ensure quality
-Archiving: daily backup, archive completed projects, managing assets and archive
-Assisting with editing: importing/exporting XMLs for post sound and coloring
-Managing and working across multiple projects to reach assigned deadline
-Manage licensing for all third-party content
Requirements:
- Experience in post-production for online and/or television video production
- Understanding of post-production workflow and applications (Adobe Creative Cloud, Davinci Resolve)
- Experience editing with Adobe Premiere CC
- Understanding of deliverables and codecs for web
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to manage and maintain work systems and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work both independently and with a team under tight deadlines
- Experience with a NAS/ SAN post production environment a plus
- Basic understanding of Lord of The Rings lore - just kidding...but could make for great discussions
General Requirements:
- Excited to work with a small interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Great time management skills
- 2-3 years of video/post production experience
- Work full-time in our San Francisco office
- Eligible to work in the United States legally
