Full Time Unpaid Internship
The Marvel Digital Front-End Development team is seeking a design-focused web developer to join us as an intern. In this role, you will develop assets and design responsive layouts for the various Marvel interactive pages. We'll need you to be creative, motivated, proficient in web design, and able to work in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
Responsibilities• Work with Software Engineers and Product Designers to implement rich and interactive websites for the Marvel brand as well as internal websites.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with content strategists and UX designers to design and develop page layouts Basic Qualifications• Experience developing rich applications with HTML/CSS/JS
• Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Familiarity with Bootstrap, LESS/SASS, and developing with component libraries and UI patterns
• Strong communication skill and willingness to work together with other engineers
• Self-discipline in order to finish work on a timely basis

• Self-motivated: You can work with a minimum of supervision and be capable of strategically prioritizing multiple tasks in a proactive manner.
• All candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
• All candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• All candidates must be available during the months of May through August.
• All candidates must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.
• All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.
Preferred Qualifications
• Resume must outline other internships, degrees earned, work experience, related clubs and organizations, current major course of study, expected graduation date and extracurricular activities.
• Cover letter must include a personal introduction, and days/times available during internship period.
• Preferred Junior or Senior-level standing
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Required Education • Preferably pursuing BA/BS as a computer science or Software Engineering major;
• Must be enrolled in college/university;
