Full Time Unpaid Internship
Marvel is seeking a Digital Ad Operations Intern to work side-by-side with Marvel's digital advertising team. This position partners closely with, Sales, Editorial, Product, Advertising Production and various technical teams. We're looking for somebody that's creative, analytical, detail oriented, and excited about the Marvel brand and business. Through your internship, you'll have a great opportunity to learn about the entertainment, media, and digital ecosystem while making real contributions to the digital team's efforts.
Responsibilities
• Assist with house ad and licensee ad campaign executions – inventory, planning and ad trafficking
• Send out campaign reminder emails
• Work with third party ad serving tools to serve client creative on Marvel.com and Marvelkids.com digital, video, and mobile platforms
• Capture, format and send screenshots of media to clients
• Run internal delivery reports
• Maintain the campaign coordination schedule
• Form POVs on the digital ecosystem and where the industry is heading
Basic Qualifications
• Candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel a plus)
• Strong communications skills
• Comfortable with numbers and analytics or willingness to learn
• Comfortable with being client facing
• All candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
• All candidates must be enrolled in college/university
• All candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• All candidates must be available during the months of September through December.
• All candidates must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.
• All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.
Preferred Qualifications
• Resume must outline other internships, degrees earned, work experience, related clubs and organizations, current major course of study, expected graduation date and extracurricular activities.
• Cover letter must include a personal introduction, and days/times available during internship period.
• Preferred Junior or Senior-level standing
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Required Education
In pursuit of a degree in: Advertising, Business Administration, Communications, and/or Digital marketing preferred
