Marketing Factory, Inc. is looking for a professional, self-motivated, and responsible individual to join our team as an Receptionist/Office Assistant. We are a hybrid agency specializing in music and brand advertising campaigns. An aptitude and interest in experiential /event marketing is preferred. If you are an energetic, confident individual with strong interpersonal skills and wish to work in Venice, CA, this position may be a good fit for you.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a highly organized multi-tasker that has the ability to work quickly toward goals and meet deadlines. We are looking for a perfectionist who takes personal pride in his/her work and executes assignments in a detail oriented fashion. .
Duties:
• Responsible for screening and handling incoming and outgoing calls professionally
• Greeting guests
• Assisting with office chores
• Ordering & organizing office supplies
• Running errands
• Maintaining and updating contact list, various files, records, indexes and logs
• Performing and coordinating a broad range of our office's administrative activities--storing, organizing, and integrating information for dissemination to our staff.
• Performing miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned
Hours:
This is a part-time position. The Receptionist/Office-Assistant will have to be flexible and in the office Monday - Friday for 20-30 hours a week.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Software Proficiencies: Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel,
MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook)
- Familiarity working with calendar system
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all
levels, in person and on the telephone
- Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral
instructions
- Must have the ability to prioritize, organize and schedule work effectively in a fast-
paced, deadline driven environment
- Must have problem solving skills
- Must have the ability to adapt and respond to last minute changes and modifications to
executive schedule and travel
- Must have the ability to research, distill and communicate pertinent information on
assigned tasks
