Looking for a great editor / producer to put together (edit and produce) a 40-50 minute sports documentary based on an existing short 12 minute documentary broadcast on the VICE Network. This documentary will be broadcast and seen by a lot of people, however the broadcaster is offering no compensation fee.
While there is no pay on this project, this is a tremendous opportunity to gain a great editor and producer credit, and potentially a paid gig in the near future, as talks are ongoing to commission a paid television series based off the existing short doc, and the 40-50 minute documentary being requested and put together on this occasion.
While this is sports related content, sports knowledge and experience are welcomed, but not a pre-requisite. The focus is on being able to deliver dramatic and cutting edge content, and telling the human stories of the athletes involved. Think a combination of ESPN 30 for 30, and the edgy Red Bull and Nike commercials.
This is a challenging engagement on a very unique and exciting project with enormous potential in the near future. Email for further details.
