MarVista Entertainment, a very busy, full-service television/film production and distribution company is looking for a post-production intern.
We are looking for someone that is detail oriented, well-organized, motivated, and hard-working. This person will aid in the general day-to-day post needs.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the sales and marketing team with creating and distributing digital marketing material
• Assisting the operations team in distributing digital files to various clients
• Digitizing from various video Sources
• Uploading files for distribution
• Transcoding files for multiple delivery platforms
• Working on building and archiving our digital library
Applicant's skills and experience should include:
• Knowledge of all media file formats and codecs
• Proficient in Final Cut Pro, Compressor, DVD Studio Pro, FTP and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of FileMaker Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Composer, and Premiere is a plus
3-4 days per week starting mid-January 2012
You should expect the hours to be generally 930 am to 5pm. |

Salary:
|
The internship shall be unpaid. However, college credit possible, valuable hands on experience in a growing company, and a recommendation letter for future employment from MarVista management upon successful completion.
