Maker Studios is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A in our Culver City, CA location, reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A. This position will partner with departmental managers and the management team to deliver proactive and insightful strategies, financial models, analysis and metrics to help optimize the current and future business and drive business decisions. The successful candidate will have prior experience in conceiving and building financial models with only moderate oversight, and will have strong presentation skills. Essential responsibilities and duties include budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, decision support projects and ad hoc analysis.
Primary Responsibilities
• Support annual budget and monthly forecast processes, incorporating actual results, current trends, and future strategies
• Support monthly P&L forecast and close by recapping actual results versus plan and preparing variance analyses for business owners; analyze current and past trends in various metrics including revenue, gross margin and operating expense
• Analyze key performance indicators by utilizing and becoming an expert in various systems including YouTube Analytics, Tableau, Salesforce and proprietary dashboard tools
• Create financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
• Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and senior management team
• Extract meaningful information from data, facilitate strategic initiatives and serve as the key contact in reporting key financial metrics for the Company

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• MBA a plus
• 3-5 years in an analytic role in corporate finance, management consulting, investment banking or equivalent analytical experience
• Solid understanding of basic accounting and finance principles required
• Must be comfortable and have experience in a dynamic, rapidly growing, fast paced environment
• Ability to meet deadlines quickly and accurately, multi-task and work well under pressure with changing priorities
• High mathematical and analytical skills required. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Overall, a logical problem solver.
• Demonstrates impeccable organizational skills and attention to details
• Experience in digital media and online advertising a plus
