Full Time Unpaid Internship
Purpose of Position:
Passionate and motivated. Driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit and leadership qualities. Resourceful, innovative, forward thinking and committed. The Sales Director will be responsible for creating and selling branded entertainment, high-impact advertising programs across the UK region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet with planning, buying, and strategy teams at both the brand level and agency level
• Create and maintain relationships with decision makers at all levels of agencies and brands within territory
• Generate RFP opportunities through meetings and constant correspondence with target accounts
• Cold-call/email and evangelize Maker to advertisers unfamiliar with Maker and it's offerings
• Create and pitch proposals which include custom video, media plans leveraging Maker's O&O properties
• Build a plan that leverages Maker Studio's assets to achieve client marketing objectives while consistently exceeding revenue targets.
• Be visible within the ad community and own high level relationships.
• Client success is critical and he/she must possess a strong sales background with the ability to develop creative and strategic programs that meet marketing objectives.
• He/she must be able to identify the strategic components necessary to drive success and work collaboratively internally to accomplish goals
Requirements:
• BA/BS
• 5 years experience required
• Self-Starter
• Strong background of digital media sales in both large media companies as well as start up atmospheres (5-10 years)
• Established track record of closing business
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong comfort with PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong propensity to take initiative and thrive on change
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional, global teams toward mutual objectives
• Strong facility for negotiating deals and closing business
