Reports to: Director of Audience Strategy
FLSA: Exempt
This position reports to the Director of Audience Strategy and takes responsibility and accountability for a - pod? - or genre grouping - of creators partnered with Maker. They lead a team of strategists all focused on the overarching goals of increasing the audience of partner creators organically, building brand equity by leveraging Maker resources and knowledge base, as well as generating revenue by strategically deploying audience and social influence.
Position requires strategic thinkers with the ability to navigate easily between operational leadership of a group of employees and the social responsibility of representing Maker to all partner creators in their pod. Leadership may also include developing personal relationships with valuable, high-audience creators or creators with a high potential for growth.
Potential projects include leading discussions, planning, and execution of projects to enhance revenue or audience of individual creators or groups of creators together?including but not limited to adoption of Maker content platforms, creation of branded integration campaigns, and development of collaborations.
Ability to communicate to other departments effectively, and ability to translate needs and aspirations of specific communities to wider initiatives are vital.
Requirements:
-Experience in New Media,
-Experience with and knowledge of video platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo,
-Social Media expertise, particularly with Twitter and Facebook
-Multilingual a plus, especially Spanish, Russia, Mandarin, and Portuguese
-1 or 2 years of content experience
-Management experience
Qualifications:
-Training or certification in YouTube, New Media, Social Media audience, data or content strategy
-Media or content development experience
-Data analysis or statistical experience
