Job Description
A "Director of Branded Entertainment" is responsible for creating proactive and reactive concepts and programs for brand campaigns, and for supervising the custom content campaigns that are inclusive of their area.
Job Responsibilities
• Creating custom concepts and programs for brands / responding to RFP's from commercial for deals that touch their area (including budgets)
• Managing commercial campaigns once won; coordinating with Sales, Account Managers, Programming Directors, Talent and Legal, and all other stakeholders
• Supervising campaigns in progress: overseeing production and post-production
• Organizing and updating collateral for commercial ventures (ie spreadsheets of top talent with updated numbers, overall network numbers, O&O format performances, social reach, etc)
• Writing copy for commercial concepts and programs as needed
• Tracking campaign success with screen shots, analytics, etc as needed for wrap reports
• Creating white-label or "built if sold" concepts and programs (including budgets)
• Communicating all programming plans and talent initiatives within the relevant area to BE
• Attending weekly BE meetings and supporting commercial ventures as needed
Desired Skills and Experience
Required Experience and Training:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 3 years of project management experience related to production and client facing initiatives.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with a broad spectrum of audiences at all organizational levels.
• Sound video/film production aptitude and proven ability to grasp general knowledge of multiple disciplines and technologies with superior computer usage skills.
• Strong competencies in planning, project management, and organization with the ability to lead multiple activities and resources while maintaining a focus on quality.
• Solid analytical and strategic capabilities and business acumen along with demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct and appearance.
• Ability to produce and present clear, concise, and professionally written communications and presentations.
