Position reports to the VP of Audience Strategy, and takes responsibility and accountability for creators partnered with Maker inside an entire content category. They manage multiple - pods? - creators and employees clustered around specific genres of content - through Managers of Audience Strategy.
Position takes accountability and responsibility for the revenue generated from creators partnered with their pods, the organic growth of audience within pods, and the partner satisfaction and sentiment within their pods. Position works in tight coordination with leaders of other departments focused on the same content category - other departments that touch Audience Strategy include Marketing, Content, Sales, Talent and Production. Position focuses on operations but also develops innovative strategies to enhance company scale of audience, including developing strategies for engaging new platforms, for attracting and motivating new classes of creators, and for enhancing Maker-creator relationships.
Requirements for the position include a very strong background of knowledge on YouTube and other video platforms, Social media, content creation and project management. Passion for the category of content position works for very helpful.
Requirements:
-Experience in New Media
-Experience with and knowledge of video platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo,
-Social Media expertise, particularly with Twitter and Facebook
-Multilingual a plus, especially Spanish, Russia, Mandarin, and Portuguese
- Bachelor Degree Required
- 2-3 years experience required
Qualifications:
-Training or certification in YouTube, New Media, Social Media audience, data or content strategy
-Media or content development experience
-Data analysis or statistical experience
