Position: Digital Marketing Manager, Family
Reports to: Senior Director, Marketing
FLSA: Exempt
Develop, lead, optimize and track digital marketing strategies for show and series launches within the Maker Family vertical.
• Work with cross-functional teams within Maker and outside of Maker to execute marketing campaigns, including product, sales, marketing, programming, PR, communications, and production
• Oversee content plans and social media/digital calendar to ensure content is fresh, accurate and relevant on social channels and Maker web platforms
• Pro-actively develop digital marketing plans against key tentpole events and launches
• Work closely with Social Media Manager to ensure social media is strategically included in all marketing plans
• Keep abreast digital trends as they relate to Maker's Family vertical
• Oversee social media ad buying
• Translate business goals into digital marketing objectives, creating and communicating marketing targets/briefs internally and externally
• Continually explore new developments in the digital landscape to find ways to more effectively and efficiently deliver communication and business objectives
• Report on the performance of campaigns including developing insights and recommendations to key stakeholder
• Work closely with other marketing managers to develop specific digital strategies and identify requirements for all creative assignments, including: YouTube, social media, banner ads, landing pages/microsites, and website development
Requirements:
• Self-starter, proactive
• Must have previous experience working with Kids and Family brands or media companies
• Experience with YouTube metrics
• At least 2-3 years experience in digital marketing
• Strong technical understanding of digital performance marketing i.e. Bought, Owned and Earned media
• Strong experience in digital marketing metrics including Sprinklr, RivalIQ, Simply Measured, Facebook Insights, Twitter Insights
• Exceptional communication - deep cross-functional collaboration is required
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Creative and analytical experience with Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, Vine, StumbleUpon, Instagram, Snapchat and other social sites
