The Sales Planner's play a critical role within this company. Our new team member will need to work across key Maker teams, in order to satisfy client needs while being able to effectively monetize Company video properties. A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail is of utmost importance. Maker Studios is looking for someone who is able to roll up their sleeves, learn on their feet, and provide support to multiple teams across the company.
Responsibilities:
•
Strategic thinking while adhering to client RFP details, requests, strategies, requirements
•
Team with Account Executives to understand client goals and objectives and brainstorm solutions
•
Work with all internal departments (Ad Ops, Talent, Creative, Channel Teams, etc.) on the development and implementation of client campaigns
•
Utilize proprietary RFP response excel template and/or proprietary Maker Studios internal system
•
Full working knowledge of YouTube Self Sell Partner rate card, historical rates obtained via TrueView, AdWords for all available types of YouTube ads and targeting options
•
Maintain rate card for all Maker media properties
•
Provide recommended inventory solutions when desired inventory is sold out
•
Alert sales team of potential delivery issues due to overbooking, traffic changes or other seasonal nuances
•
Provide screen shots of live campaigns
•
Execution of media plan
•
Booking inventory in DSM, DFP and/or set up of ad’s in TrueView/AdWords
•
Management of creative assets, click thru’s, tag implementations
•
Monitor delivery
•
Reporting
•
Prepare monthly comScore reporting outlining state of the YouTube MCN industry, which gets distributed internally to executive teams
Qualifications
2 years hands-on experience working in digital media.
Expertise with MS Office products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
Basic knowledge of contracts, experience reviewing IOs/Terms and Conditions is necessary
Basic knowledge of online advertising research tools: comScore, Nielsen
Comprehensive understanding of campaign success metrics and analytics
Experience with 3rd party AdServers (DFP), QA’ing tags and digital creative is preferred
Knowledge of Salesforce and DSM a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
Strong project management and communication skills
Strong analytical, strategic and creative problem solving skills
Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
