The Ad Operations Associate will play a critical role as a media buyer within Maker Studios, interfacing with the Maker Sales teams in order to satisfy client needs while effectively monetizing Company video properties. A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail is of utmost importance. Maker Studios is looking for someone who is able to roll up their sleeves, contribute to a rapidly expanding sales operation and provide immediate support to teams across the company.
Working under the guidance of the Director of Monetization, the Ad Operations Associate is a member of the Ad Operations team responsible for executing a high volume of campaigns in collaboration with the Sales Team and commercial organization.
Responsibilities
• Execute Trueview and Google Display Network pre roll buys on Google auction platforms
• Execute Facebook and Instagram media buys in collaboration with Influencer campaigns
• Responsible for campaign setup, optimization and margin management
• Maintain detailed internal revenue reporting documents for finance and senior management
• Advise media planner on marketable media buying opportunities and margin growth potential
• Guide Account Management and Sales Team on media buying market and opportunities
• Create mid and post campaign reports for review by internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor campaigns to ensure full delivery according to terms of Insertion Order
• Offer creative solutions to problems arising from technical or resource limitations
• Work in cross-departmental collaboration with Account Management, Sales Team, Finance, Accounting and Business Development
Basic Qualifications
• 2-4 years of media buying or online advertising account management.
• Experience in Adwords and/or DoubleClick Bid Manager
• Experience with digital video and Trueview a plus
• Experience with Facebook Ads Manager/ Power Editor strongly desired
• Thorough knowledge of current online advertising ecosystem
• Strong web analytics background, especially well versed in Google products and metrics
• Ability to trouble shoot technical client side/ 3rd party tagging and tracking issues
• Extensive background in A/B Testing and campaign optimization
