?We are currently seeking interns to assist us for Winter/Summer in the International Sales Department. The internship gives qualified candidates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all facets of a fast-paced, cutting edge independent film distribution company.
Responsibilities include:?
-Preparing marketing materials for major film markets including EFM, Cannes, AFM, Venice, TIFF, MipCom and MipTV.
- -Assisting with international festival submissions, delivery and performance tracking?.
-Researching foreign distributors as well as information and data required for marketing titles on the current sales slate?.
-Creating and maintaining departmental information systems for festivals, material delivery assistance and territory avails?.
-Managing the department's video library?.
-Administrative support .
Requirements:?
-Strong interest in the international aspect of film?.
-Detail oriented, resourceful, motivated, professional.
- -Proficient in PC (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- -Knowledge of foreign language or experience abroad at any level or degree is a plus, but not required.
Hours:
3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) for a commitment of at least 3 months or more.
The longer you are able to commit to the position, the larger and more significant the projects we will be able to pass along.?Hours are 10:00AM- 7:00PM. - Pay is minimum wage
