MTV is seeking a video researcher for a short-term music documentary project. The successful candidate will:
- Work closely with the documentary producer discovering, selecting, and ingesting footage for edit
- Have an interest/knowledge of alternative rock spanning from the 80's to present day
- Create extensive, detailed, organized notes throughout the process, especially using Excel
- Have a deep knowledge of MTV/VH1 programming history
- Position runs for three months starting 12/1
Required Qualifications / Skills:
- 2-3 years experience in production
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Some experience using Final Cut Pro
