Public Relations Administrative Assistant for Agency Partners
MPRM Communications is one of the largest and most established independent communications firms serving the multi-screen world of media and entertainment, with clients in the key entertainment industries of television, digital media, film, home entertainment, technology and events. We are currently in search of an experienced individual who is passionate about the media industry and is seeking an administrative publicity position.
ABOUT THE POSITION
This position combines creative, publicity and administrative duties, including management of the agency partners' schedules, travel, internal event planning and monitoring coverage for the agency's clients. This individual will also help create new business/marketing decks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be computer literate and know how to use Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point and other programs. Knowledge of Cision a plus. Preference to those who have experience with PR agencies or in-house PR departments. Attention to detail, resourcefulness and organization a must! Must be able to juggle multiple projects, prioritize and be a self-starter.
• Experience managing executive schedules, planning travel, etc.
• Event Planning skills (company events)
• Expertise with document scanning, Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, Internet and Windows software.
• Familiarity with Cision, VMS, Critical Mention, or other press/news/advertising resource vendors a plus.
• Familiarity with newspapers and entertainment-specific publications and websites a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written and proofreading skills.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
• Must be a team player.
• Works well in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and multi-task effectively.
• Ability to learn new technologies and software.
• Exercise good judgment, flexibility, resourcefulness and strong organizational/time management skills.
• Ability to be adaptable and flexible.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Experience in social media a plus.
• Bachelors degree preferred.
