Lighting, A/V and Decor Techs Needed
MDM Entertainment, a popular event production company, is looking for knowledgeable and personable individuals to deliver, set up and operate AV, lighting, drape and decor at social and corporate events in the Chicago area.
Candidates must:
• Be reliable and able to act in a mature and professional manner
• Possess a solid work ethic
• Be willing to learn new skills
• Have an eye for design and detail
• Have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, valid auto insurance and reliable transportation
• Be able to perform physical labor and lift 50+ lbs
• Be comfortable working at heights and on ladders
• Be able to work weekends
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment and able to meet deadlines
The job is part time (mainly on weekends). Saturday day and evening availability is a must.
Travel to and from event locations throughout Chicago and the suburbs from our Schaumburg office is required.
Knowledge of basic sound, video and lighting equipment, DMX 512 and Martin LightJockey is helpful.
Training will be offered however, experience in A/V, special event lighting and decor is a definite plus.
