Angels Baseball is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Tour Guide. This person must embrace the Angel Baseball philosophy of providing outstanding service to all the guests that enter Angel Stadium. The responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to, the following:
Essential job duties would include:
• Provide exceptional customer service to stadium visitors.
• Maintain a professional image and pleasant demeanor at all times.
• Be knowledgeable about all parts of the stadium, the team, and past/present players.
• Walk the ballpark with people and effectively give information about Angel Stadium in an entertaining and informative manner.
• Answer questions from tour guests.
• Safely guide a group through the stadium in an effective and efficient manner.
• Work/communicate with fellow tour guides and front office staff to keep tours on schedule.
• Handle registration of tour guests.
• Act as liaison between guests and Angel Stadium.
• Assist with special requests/duties.
Some of the requirements for this position are:
• Public speaking experience
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent customer service skills
• Outgoing personality
• Good verbal communication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy with guests
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Work in inclement weather
• Ability to demonstrate a positive and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to stand or walk long distances for long periods of time
