Job Description
Full-Time – Business Analyst
PURPOSE
The position will support, enhance, and guide the efforts pertaining to business strategy throughout the organization with specific focus on Ticket Sales and Marketing. Aspects of the position include creation and implementation of outbound sales strategies, marketing analysis, and systems integrations. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Ticket Marketing and will be involved in creation and rollout of key strategic initiatives throughout the organization with a specific focus on ticket sales and retention.
JOB DUTIES
Special Events and Promotional Coordination
• Organize, analyze, and present data from ticket sales and operations, food and beverage sales, merchandise sales, social media interaction, loyalty programs, survey responses, third party resources, stadium operations, and corporate partnerships
• Research and evaluate opportunities in order to provide team executives with strategic recommendations and alternatives on critical business initiatives.
• Work with IS on development of automated reports and ad hoc requests with data from the data warehouse
• Support the organizational implementation of business intelligence tools such as CRM and data visualization
• Conduct project-based return analysis to evaluate business opportunities
• Support all business departments with analytical consulting as requested
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, statistics, economics, mathematics, or related field in combination with 1-3 years of equivalent work experience
• Remain extremely organized with the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize
• Familiarity and good judgment with a broad range of methodologies and tools, such as exploratory data manipulation and analysis, regression analysis, forecasting models, simulation, probability models, and optimization
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, working knowledge of SQL, Tableau is preferred, and knowledge of statistical language such as R is a plus
• Excellent reasoning, problem-solving, creative thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously with general project guidelines
• Excellent written and oral communication/interpersonal skills are a necessity
• Ability to work independently
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required by schedule of projects and events
