About the Role:
LiveStyle is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and ambitious VP of Sales who is committed to providing support to the Sales team and business leaders within the company. The LIVESTYLE Business Development Group is a bi-coastal team with the mission to create partnerships for LIVESTYLE's festival properties throughout the United States. The team focuses on partnerships which drive on-site fan engagement, fan awareness, viewership and monetization of LIVESTYLE properties within physical, digital and social platforms. You will be responsible for handling business and confidential situations in a discrete and mature manner.
Some things you will be responsible for:
• Responsible for identifying, securing and maintaining partnerships for on-site festival experiential activations, ad supported video and new media content including social media platforms, content syndication networks, festival destination portals, app platforms and other emerging experiential/digital partners.
• Pipeline development, including, identification of and building relationships with brand, agency, and media entities within the region.
• Sale of company properties, events, IP, assets, and content to create new long-term revenue streams
• Work with Insights / Creative team to build customized presentations for prospective partners
• Drive process of negotiating complex partnerships
• Create program P&L to maximize profitability and measure ROI
• Manage efforts between LiveStyle, Inc. divisions and partners to ensure successful execution of programs
• Primary focus of territory is Western and South Western United States
Some qualifications and skills we need you to have: You should have a minimum of 2 - 4 years as a VP of Sales;
• Active and proven Rolodex.
• Ability to understand and translate research and insight to support a business case
• Experience in strategic/partnership marketing pertaining to live event/music industry
• Demonstrated experience in bringing concepts to life through written presentations
• Demonstrated success in driving the new business process from concept, sale, and execution
• Experience in media, entertainment, brand and/or agency industries required; music industry experience a plus
• Bachelor's Degree is required
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically including: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and function well under pressure and tight delivery timeframes
• Requires a high degree of tact, initiative, accuracy, judgment and superior interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a team environment
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management
• Professional demeanor, appearance, and positive can-do attitude
