Full Time Job
We are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to assist with the management and review of the Company's U.S. federal, state, local and international income tax compliance and external reporting requirements for its U.S. parent company and subsidiaries.
Preparation and review of federal separate and consolidated corporate income tax returns
Plan and coordinate preparation of partnership returns
Assist with review/preparation of international tax reporting
Assist with the review of state income/franchise tax returns
Coordinate tax requirements for acquisitions and divestitures
Oversee maintenance of tax systems - fixed assets and intangibles
Identify and capture detail for U.S. permanent and temporary differences as required for ASC 740 reporting
Coordinate collection of information (IDRs) needed in connection with IRS examinations.
Accounting degree; CPA preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Seven years of comparable experience in large corporate environment for publicly-traded company, and or public accounting with a preference for Big 4 or large regional firm including previous experience in a supervisory role
Personal drive to develop self and others
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Corptax
Reports to: Director Federal Tax
Location: Houston, Texas
Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt
