Litchfield Performing Arts, Inc., a 501C3 arts organization, is seeking a sharp, organized self-starter to assist the Executive Director in grants research, acquisition and compliance and donor cultivation and maintenance. Work with ED and Board to develop and produce fund raising events. Maintain relationships with teachers of music critical to the organization's educational programs, notably its 18 year old Litchfield Jazz Camp. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of QuickBooks required. Experience in creating and maintaining budgets needed.
Responsibilities:
Research and develop new grant targets (Foundation Directory Online available), and assist ED with grant submissions.
Create and maintain grant timelines.
Meet all grant reporting requirements in a timely fashion.
Cultivate and maintain individual donors and sponsors, including donor acknowledgement and data base maintenance.
Manage annual appeal.
Work jointly with ED and Board to develop new fundraising events and strategies.
Assist in organizing and running fundraisers.
Telemarket to established list of educators to promote student enrollment for Litchfield Jazz Camp.
