Lionsgate is the leading next generation filmed entertainment studio and is a major producer and distributor of motion pictures, home entertainment, family entertainment, television programming, video-on-demand and digitally delivered content.
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for an experienced Staff Accountant. The primary responsibilities for this position will include entry and filing of monthly journal entries, reconciliation for various balance sheet accounts, account analysis and administration, providing assistance with the monthly, quarterly and year-end close, and other related duties.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Accounting, a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience, demonstrated knowledge of general accounting principles and internal controls, solid knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting, and strong communication skills. Candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and have strong Excel skills. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
