Lionsgate has an immediate need for a Senior Analyst in the corporate Financial Planning & Analysis department, reporting to the Executive Director of FP&A. The position serves a critical role in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, and monitors business segment and corporate cash flow on an actual and projected basis. Some specific duties include:
• Maintain financial models to track actual and projected cash flows for all Lionsgate divisions and segments
• Develop and distribute accurate management reports (e.g. P&Ls and Direct Cash Flows) that incorporate internal metrics and financial operating results
• Serve as a liaison between FP&A and Accounting to ensure complete and accurate data is being communicated and integrated into the corporate planning and reporting system (SAP BPC/Outlooksoft)
• Initiate and participate in process and systems improvements
• Support the development of the annual business plan and quarterly resets
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed to department and company executives
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years experience from a similar financial planning environment, preferably within the Entertainment industry. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting (MBA preferred), outstanding Excel modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and be extremely conscientious and detailed oriented. The position requires excellent written and communication skills as it involves interaction with various high-level executives throughout the organization.
