Search for Sr./Project Manager, Digital Platforms (CCHQ) jobs in Los Angeles-CA
Lionsgate/Comic-Con HQ is looking for an experienced Sr./Project Manager for our Platform development efforts. Your role will be to develop, maintain and own project plans, outlining tasks, milestones, status and resource allocations, and reporting regularly to stakeholders. You are responsible for clearly defining each step and establishing concrete deadlines for each deliverable across various development teams. You will define your own method and implement your own tools to manage projects across the different Lionsgate Digital Platforms. You will be able to quickly respond to questions like ''What is the status of feature X?'' or ''When will feature Y be live?'' You will identify risk, anticipate problems and find resolutions before they threaten milestones or deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate a regular cadence of meetings as necessary with the different development teams to plan, track, and report on new and on-going initiatives
Remove impediments to the development teams
Implement and maintain tools for managing projects, bugs, features, budget and developers
Track and report on the velocity and deployment of sprints as well as overall project scope and timeline
Manage deliverables, dependencies, and requirements across internal departments and functions
Plan, coordinate and direct all activities associated with developing project plans, communication plans and project schedules
Identify and manage project risks and issues
Report on the progress against the overall project schedule
Responsible for the overall team performance
Experience & Skills:
5+ years combined experience in Technical Project Manager roles
3 years' minimum experience as a Project Manager in Technology Organizations
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field
Completed classes related to Project Management or PMP Certification preferred
Project Management experience in managing software development applications
Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, Rally or Version One
Demonstrated team leadership and management skills and extremely detail and accuracy oriented
Excellent with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and project management skills, able to plan, prioritize and meet deadlines
Experience supporting/rolling out initiatives to commercial teams
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of products
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate across technical and business resources
Competent understanding of development languages, data architecture, APIs, application development, SEO, video streaming, DRM, and infrastructure technologies is highly preferred
Experience working in the digital video & entertainment industry is a plus
Start-up experience is a plus
