Summary of Position:
Lionsgate is seeking a Sr. Manager, Procurement & Systems Support to lead key projects within Procurement with a core focus on Procurement leverageable spend across all categories within Advertising/Marketing, Content Supply Chain and Corporate Services. Position will seek to optimize delivery on cost savings and other value improvements for these projects. Works with Senior Vice President and business unit management to develop and implement sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships practicing formalized sourcing best practices and abiding by standards and procedures. This position is charged with identifying margin improvements, monitoring supplier performance and ensuring continuous improvement. Position also has a key role in administering and managing a source to contract software solution with spend analytics, contract management, eRFX, cost savings tracking and supplier relationship management functionality. Responsibilities:
• Develop category strategy recommendations and lead implementation of supply chain strategy (optimization, process enhancements, sole source or short-list negotiations, leverage added scope, competitive bidding, reverse auctions, etc.) for Procurement leverageable spend across Lions Gate.
• Develop new category strategies, considering the entire supply chain, information and economic considerations.
• Compile and synthesize both business requirements and external market conditions to develop optimal category strategy
• Develop and compiles required Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP) to facilitate development of sourcing strategy.
• Administer and manage end to end source to contract software solution to streamline Procurement processes and cycle times while maximizing cost savings and other value improvements.
• Conduct comprehensive supplier analysis (strategic direction, financial health/risk due diligence, market position, power within industry, capabilities & capacity, risk assessment).
• Develop and implement supplier relationship programs that cut across multiple Lions Gate business divisions and coordinates shared KPIs.
• Identify and implement large scale, complex projects across divisions and territories.
• Develop detailed analyses of financial statements and industry cost drivers.
• Conceive and develop complex analytical & pricing models, including analysis of financial statements and industry cost drivers.
• Lead and develop negotiation strategies, contract analyses, and sourcing communications and meetings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and legal counsel to lead global negotiations and contract coordination to ensure all territory-specific requirements are captured.
• Provide internal consulting expertise to senior management in the practice of strategic sourcing, best practices, and external marketplace or innovative trends.
• Build effective relationships to enable fast alignment and roll out communications.
Experience & Skills
• 5-7+ years of sourcing experience in a sophisticated environment with an ability to influence others.
• Must have solid experience and highly developed subject matter expertise for various categories.
• Must have proficiency working with leading source to contract solutions in the marketplace such as Ariba, IBM (Emptoris), Bravo Solutions, Zycus, GEP, etc.
• Experience with SAP highly preferred as Company ERP
• Must have extensive knowledge and relationships with suppliers, materials and service providers.
• Must have proven project management experience, excellent communication skills, advanced computer literacy, ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, and a team building work style for a fast-paced environment.
• Must have demonstrated skills to lead projects in international and multi-cultural environment.
• Proficiency in developing complex RFPs and conducting complex bid analysis required through experience working with the leading source to contract solutions in the marketplace.
• Strong supplier management/performance measurement monitoring experience.
• Must be knowledgeable of, and experienced in, application of Procurement best practices.
• Ability to deliver professional and effective communications, verbally or in writing thorough presentations that are persuasive, and result in positive impact on the business.
• Advanced analytical skills and demonstrated application of category-specific best practices.
• Must have strong leadership quality, be a visionary, and be customer service oriented.
• Must be a flexible, team player with high energy.
• Must have demonstrated ability in defining, developing, and implementing strategy and programs.
• Practices a high degree of professional integrity and ethical responsibility in all business activities.
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Management or a Technical major) is required, and a Master's degree (MBA preferred) and CPSM/C.P.M. credentials are highly preferred.
