Summary of Position:
The Manager, Creative Content and Servicing, International Marketing will report to the Executive Director, Creative Content and Servicing, International Marketing and be responsible for maintaining distribution of marketing assets and communication to international distributors. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, being able to stay on top of several complex and time sensitive projects at one time with the right mix of prioritizing and taking the necessary initiative.
• Stay on top of all material release (posters, trailers, website source files, TV spots, film clips featurettes, etc) timing with communication internally and to international distributors.
• Work with domestic digital publicity team and international distributors to coordinate online material debuts.
• Manage AV and print theatrical material localizations for International Distributors with finishing houses and labs. Work with local distributors to secure translations. Create international generic versions of campaign materials.
• Manage sales materials, including artwork layouts and formats, promos, and market brochures for festivals and markets.
• Help with territory-specific requests by answering questions or knowing the correct team to loop in.
• Manage exhibitor convention requests necessary on a by-country and per-title basis by gathering necessary information, handling approvals and providing necessary approvals.
• Liaise with creative vendors on budgets, development and finishing.
• Manage all assets: Download from source based on set file specifications, quality control check of all AV and print files, upload to internal system and to external asset management system DAX, and do various logistical file work like watermarking videos, resizing print assets and working with photoshop layers.
• Create various assets such as graphs/graphics for marketing strategy documents, keynote presentations, social media assets and more.
• Maintain marketing strategy decks and timelines with current information.
• Prepare budgets and materials estimates for all responsible titles. Review & approve invoicing and bill backs executed by the department assistant.
• Coordinate with anti-piracy to maintain security and prevent materials leaks.
Experience & Skills:
• MUST be a TEAM PLAYER and willing to collaborate in a group environment.
• Independent and a self-starter.
• Quick thinker and fast to respond.
• Positive attitude.
• Familiarity with complex print and AV files and operations.
• Must have familiarity with Print software (Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator) and/or AV software (Final Cut Pro or iMovie).
• Understanding of how to work with filmmakers and creative agencies.
• Professional writing and/or design skills a plus.
• Must have at least 4 years professional experience working at a creative agency, a film lab or in international film marketing at a studio or production company.
