Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Manager, Audit Residuals. The primary focus of this position is to manage the processes for multiple guild audits and claims at various stages of completion.
Responsibilities:
-Preparation of audit report responses by analyzing audit claims and reviewing contracts, correspondence, statements, accounting records, and other pertinent documents to determine the validity of claims.
-Assist with residual title set up and processing.
-Interpreting union agreements.
-Working with outside payroll companies.
-Special projects and ad-hoc analysis, as assigned.
Experience & Skills:
-Minimum of 5 years' experience in studio residuals.
-Intermediate knowledge of union agreements (i.e. SAG, WGA, DGA, AFM, IATSE).
-SAP B/W experience is a plus.
-BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
-Advanced level of Microsoft Excel.
-Attentive to details.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Above average organization skills with the ability to multi-task and meet strict contractual deadlines.
-Ability to work pro-actively and autonomously in the audit role, but also as a team player within the residuals group.
-Experience working with Internal and/or External Auditors.
-Ability to analyze and interpret production and distribution contracts for residual liability.
