Search for Director, Theatrical Print Marketing jobs in Santa Monica-CA
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Director, Theatrical Print Marketing. The Director of Print Marketing would share duties with a Co-Director and report directly to the Senior Vice President of Print Marketing of Theatrical Releases. The position is one that involves a combination of creativity, logistics management, fantastic organizational skills, attention to detail, and teamwork. The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Primary Responsibilities:
• Create materials and manage delivery schedule for in theater materials and online debuts.
• Manage creative and assets for merchandise and promotional items. (ie select character looks and oversee the finishing)
• Manage layouts and delivery for Outdoor marketing materials.
• Photo edit and oversee re-touching for publicity needs.
• Prepare budgets for and track spending throughout campaign.
• Manage and supervise creation of style guides.
• Schedule, arrange materials, and attend press checks for print materials.
• Manage creative assets and delivery to various departments.
• Prepare legal requirements when materials are ready to finish.
• Keep records of comp files and printed material inventory.
• Liaise with International Marketing, Soundtrack, Distribution teams and internal marketing group to make sure their materials are reviewed
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Oversee creative and delivery for Academy print campaigns, Congratulatory and Corporate ads
• Stay abreast of trends in the Print Advertising industry.
• Designing and producing Promotional Items.
The successful candidate will have experience in Print Marketing and/or Film Marketing.
• Previous experience in Marketing.
• A strong understanding of Print Marketing workflows.
• Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with both internal and external personnel.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Must be a team player.
The successful candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in film marketing campaigns and an understanding of marketing workflow and client relations. Must have excellent organizational, verbal and creative skills. An understanding of different file formats (i.e. vector, layered, EPS, PSD, TIF) and Photoshop are strongly preferred, and a college degree is required.
