Lionsgate is a leading global entertainment company with a strong and diversified presence in motion picture production and distribution, television programming and syndication, home entertainment, family entertainment, digital distribution, new channel platforms and international distribution and sales.
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Director, Creative Advertising. This role is responsible for managing Audio Visual Creative Advertising in support of Lionsgate's theatrical film slate, and supporting the SVP in all other aspects of AV marketing - from strategic planning to content creation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Overseeing strategy and creation of audio visual materials - from concept to execution.
• Collaborating with internal departments and creative executives to create marketing campaigns that build awareness and engage target audiences.
• Ensuring that marketing goals, user insights, industry trends and best practices are incorporated into all creative campaign components.
• Partnering with creative agencies to position and create marketing materials for theatrical campaigns.
• Researching competitive materials for analysis & application.
• Presenting creative to senior management, filmmakers & partners.
• Maintaining creative marketing campaign budgets.
Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of all aspects of creative advertising.
• Clear communication, negotiation and writing skills.
• Robust creative thinking & analytical skills.
• Previous experience working for an entertainment studio or creative agency preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years creative advertising experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
Desired:
• Strong knowledge of creative strategy and creation of materials related to theatrical marketing.
• Experience in managing and mentoring others.
