Summary of Position:
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for an in-theatre marketing Coordinator in the Theatrical Distribution department. We're looking for someone motivated and creative, who has a passion for the film business.
Primary responsibilities include:
-Managing marketing and promotional initiatives for Lionsgate's robust film slate with regional theatre chains
-Collaborating with internal Lionsgate departments, outside vendors and exhibition partners
-Giving presentations at regional theatre manager conferences
-Developing and supporting local in-theatre initiatives
-Managing department website
-Handling department administrative tasks, including setting meetings, answering phones and processing invoices
-Job involves working occasional weeknights and weekends, with some travel
Experience & Skills:
-The successful candidate has strong communication skills (both verbal and written), good problem solving abilities and a willingness to learn.
-Film distribution/exhibition experience is preferable, but not a must.
-The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to be involved in the business of theatrical film distribution and marketing
-Excellent computer skills are needed, including proficiency using Microsoft Office
-A bachelor degree is required
