Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Contracts and Compliance Administrator in the Human Resources department. This position will have a variety of responsibilities within the Human Resources department including the following:
• Track and monitor the internal status of independent contractors and non-corporate employees;
• Work closely with the HR Attorney to ensure compliance in all HR areas by reviewing and revising HR policies and streamlining current procedures;,
• Act as a liaison between independent contractors and HR;
• Prepare (for review), circulate and track employment/consultant/ separation agreements and letters as applicable;
• Prepare monthly Employee Status Forms for contractual changes in employment;
• Handle ad hoc employment law projects as needed;
• Provide legal administrative support for employment legal matters;
• Work with payroll and accounts payable on processing payments for separation agreements and attorneys' fees;
• Receive, Process and Track Consultant Invoices and Expenses;
• Mail consultant checks and expenses as well as separation agreement checks and attorneys' fees
• Assist the Talent Acquisition Team with background checks
The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical ability. Candidates should have a foundational employment law/human resources knowledge base, be extremely detail-oriented, and be able to manage constantly changing priorities. Must have a positive attitude and the ability to handle stress well.
