Summary of Position:
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for an Assistant to the EVP, TV Operations & Corporate Development.
This group is responsible for evaluating Lionsgate's broad range of investment opportunities, acquisitions targets and new business development initiatives across the media and entertainment industry both domestically and internationally. Additionally, the group provides financial and strategic support for Lionsgate's partnerships and joint ventures. The team is also heavily involved in Lionsgate's capital market transactions and helps further develop Lionsgate's long-term strategy.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, resourceful, detail oriented, great at multitasking and prioritizing in a very fast paced and highly confidential environment. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and feel comfortable communicating with high-level executives on a range of issues. Responsibilities:
• Traditional executive assistant duties including schedule meetings, rolling calls, booking travel and drafting expense reports
• Project management and tracking
• Help prepare materials to be presented to Lionsgate's Board of Directors, investors and potential partners
• Company specific and industry wide research
Qualifications & Requirements:
• 1+ year of either entertainment industry or finance experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to concisely and confidently interact with high-level executives
• Strong project management and coordination skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's degree required
